Born on February 5, 1967 in Baltimore MD, he was the son of Maude L. Thomas and the late Jerry Wayne Thomas, Sr.
Jerry was a football fanatic and enjoyed watching Tennessee Volunteers and Indianapolis Colts games. He loved spending time in the Tennessee Mountains, especially in Gatlinburg. The greatest joy of his life however came from spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Linda Thomas; stepson Michael Adams Jr. and his wife Lesley; sisters Theresa Boozer and her husband Ben and Sharon Ferguson and her husband Ryan; grandchildren Sydnie Adams and Jack Adams; sister-in-law Deborah Almond and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 26, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
A Celebration of Jerry's Life will be held at Whitten Timberlake Chapel on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 3:00 p.m.
