Jerry we miss you so much brother. I know you’re looking down from heaven and guiding us all on earth.  You were a great man and friend and I thank of you and your family every day. God Bless you Jerry and thank you for looking over us all. I have you in my heart and soul.

I apologize I just found out today from a co worker of Jerry's passing. I started Kohl's in 2008 and Jerry was an awesome LPS in fact he was my rival in a good way. Jerry smashed records for SR's and DA's and was completely devoted to D18. He often spoke of his family at our meetings and how devoted he was to them and that the drive wasn't awesome but he looked forward to the strategic meetings and then getting back to his family. Jerry it was my pleasure to know you! Condolences to the Thomas Family.

Today I say my last goodbye to the love of my life. A husband, father,grandpa and a man with the biggest ❤ I've ever met. I thank you for the 26 years we had together and for loving my son as your own. You've always been there for me and my family no matter what and I will never forget that. Im so thankful for the time you got to enjoy with Sydnie and Jack and the memories they will always cherish of you. Until we meet again my love..You will be greatly missed but never forgotten. To my brother Jerry,
There are no childhood memories of mine with out you in them. What a time we had growing up! All the things you taught me and got me in trouble for. You were always teaching me, like a big brother should, but you were different. You made me your tomboy sister. Playing football, fighting, fishing and pranks, while letting me be your little sister. You gave me tough brother love with a gentle side. 
As we grew older and found our way in life, you were always with me. Distance and miles apart but always siblings in the heart, a love and bond that can’t be broken.  
You are still with me in our memories we shared. So look down on me from time to time, I’ll know you’re there. We are only distance and miles apart.

My Papa was such an amazing person. He meant the world to me, he still does. I can’t believe he’s gone. I miss him more than anyone can imagine, sometimes i sit and wonder why it had to be him that left. Our vacations will never be the same with out Papa. One day i will see you, and that day will be the best day ever. I love you so much Papa.

The Central Virginia Loss Prevention Task Force truly appreciated Jerry's involvement and dedication!  He was a wonderful loss prevention professional, and our group has just not been the same without his presence!  He left big shoes to fill in this area, and is truly missed. Brad and I met Jerry and Linda in gatlinburg so they could meet Braylee for the first time. We had breakfast at the mill and walked around for a bit. It’s always so exciting showing your baby off to family and I could tell they were in love with her. I’m so glad I have this picture to remember that day. 

My earliest memory of uncle Jerry is the  first time we went to his house and  he let us drive his riding lawn mower. My brothers and I took turns and he showed us how to work it. We were cutting grass for him but it was so cool that he let us drive.  Fast forward to now and I have kids of my own. They really loved Jerry and enjoyed when him and aunt Linda would visit. When he visited he would cook and I was always happy to hear he was making dinner. My favorite meal of his was his shrimp and spaghetti. My kids loved teasing  him and always played like they didn’t want to hug him but before he would leave they would always give him the biggest hugs. We are going to miss him so much.  

I remember the first time I met Uncle Jerry. He had a cabin for he and his wife and invited us to stay with him so we could meet and enjoy a family vacation together. The only thing I really remember about that trip is that we played cards every night until the early hours of the morning. From then on he was always one of ‘us kids’ in my book. Love you big guy!

Jerry Wayne was the first grandchild for my parents. I loved my brother and Maude so much and was so excited for my first nephew. Turns out he was born on my 16th birthday.  At that time in our lives, we all lived near each other in Baltimore. Even though I didn’t have children till 5 years later, Jerry Wayne, Theresa and my two oldest sons, Larry and Bryan, did hang out and play a lot.  My one regret was the Thomas family reunion at Jerry and Linda’s house last year got cancelled. All my children missed getting to know my favorite nephew and what a wonderful man he was. 

I remember Jerry from Hills.  He had very dry humor. He would say something funny & turn & walk away. And let's not forget about his glass eye that he would tell me he would take it out & show me. He was a character. 

Jerry was more then just a friend. He was a mentor to me and was always there for me. I loved him just like a brother. Jerry was so much to life and I know now in heaven he will lead so many saint’s and angels. Be the good lord right hand overseeing us on heaven as to earth. Jerry was the best at Loss Prevention and showed heart and did the Law by book to solve cases. I will never meet anyone like Jerry in this life time. Jerry loved his family and his Grandchildren so much. Final notes I love you Jerry and my family knows how much you meant to all of us. When the storms are loud I know you are playing the drums from heaven watching over all of us from dawn to dust. God Bless you my friend and god willing forever and ever. I love you so much Jerry and your family. 

Windy and I are absolutely devastated at the loss of our really good friend. We have so many memories over so many years that there is not enough room on here for them all. Vacations and Playing card games will never be the same. We will miss so much making memories with you but you will always be in our hearts

So many memories that could be shared! There were three of us, he was the oldest and I, the middle child.  One memory we joked about over the years was us watching a circus act on tv. The one where a lady is strapped to a round board and the guy throws knives at her blind folded. Yep, I was trusting of my brother, lol. Thank God Jerry used darts instead of a knife… because it landed in my arm.  I’m not sure our ages but he may have been 7 or 8. As you can see in the photo…. He still liked poking at me! 
Love you Bro…. I’m missing you so bad! 

Linda I'm sorry to hear of Jerry passing. I worked at Kohl's with Jerry for 9.5 years. Jerry was a kind gentleman & he loved to joke with me. I will keep you & your family in my prayers. Hold on to God's Unchanging Hands.
