I met Mr Cordes in a unique way.  I saw a little red Ford Ranger parked in his driveway for months. I contacted him and bought his truck and from there we were able to do several little projects around his house together. Anyone who met him could not help but like him.  It was so neat to watch him care for his wife. His garden at 90+ years of age was amazing. The one thing I remember most is what he always said no matter what, "Keep smiling!"

I was blessed to know and care for your father and grandfather for a short time.  He always reminded me to smile and proved that age is just a number. May his memory be a blessing to you and all who knew him.
