John B. Cousins

Born June 14, 1932, in Rockingham Co., he was a son of the late George Burley Cousins and Helen Williams Cousins. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles J. Cousins; and a sister, Florence C. Martin.

He was a member of Amazing Grace Ministries and was retired from Medical Care Center.

Survivors include his brother, William M. Cousins, of Baltimore, MD; and two sisters, Virginia C. Martin, of Madison Heights, and Margaret C. Martin, of Lynchburg; special friends, Randy Brizendine, and Rachel Travis, numerous loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 6:30-8:30 pm at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel and at other times at the residence.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 9, 2013, at the funeral home by Pastor Bill Evans. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
