Born in High Point, NC on August 8, 1928 he was a son of the late Dolvin Baker and Hazel Baker. He was a retired employee of Montague-Betts Co. and a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by two siblings, Ralph Baker and Nancy Baker.
A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, April 9, 2021 at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
