Lee Anna Massie

Born in Amherst County, February 23, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Charles A. Mason, Sr. and Annie Liza Clark Mason. She was retired from GE after 35 years of service and was a member of Jordan Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, George T. Clark and her last husband, Joseph Massie; one sister and six brothers.

She is survived by four sons, Roger Clark and wife Connie of Appomattox, Eddie Clark and his wife Alice, Larry Clark and his wife Brenda all of Rustburg and Jerry Clark and wife Madeline of Lynchburg; one daughter, Sandra Clark of Rustburg; one sister, Elena Burch of Appomattox; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces and nephews.

A service celebrating her life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 6, 2015 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Dr. Melvin H. Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2015 at the funeral home and at other times at the home of her son Jerry.
