Linda Sue Bobbitt, age 71, of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022. Linda was born September 25, 1950 to Edith Layne Bobbitt and James R. Bobbitt Sr..

Linda is survived by her brother James R. Bobbitt Jr. and her sister Patricia Brock; her niece Ciera Bobbitt.

Linda was preceded in death by her 1st husband William Penick; her father James R. Bobbitt Sr. and her mother Edith Layne Bobbitt.

A graveside service for Linda will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Prospect United Methodist Church, 707 Prospect Road, Route 626, Prospect, VA 23960.

Contributions in Linda's memory may be made to Lynchburg Humane Society, 1211 Old Graves Mill Road, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
