

Lois Dudley Fogle, 84, of Lynchburg, died, Sunday, February 5, 2012, at Virginia Baptist Hospital. She was the wife of the late Marvin Ervey Fogle, Sr. Born July 4, 1927, in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Lee Dudley and the late Carrie Elizabeth Dudley Dudley.
Mrs. Fogle was a retired seamstress for Courtland Manufacturing Company and a lifetime member of Fort Hill United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Fogle is preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
Mrs. Fogle is survived by two children, Marvin E. Fogle, Jr. and Dreamer Fogle, both of Lynchburg; two grandchildren, David Earl Fogle and Beth Ann Fogle; two “guard dogs”, Tye and Tye Jr.; many loving nieces and nephews; and a special thank you to a loving and dear friend, Pam Riddle.
A graveside service will be conducted, 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at Spring Hill Cemetery conducted by Pastor and friend, Mike Sadzinski of Calvary Chapel Church.
The family will receive friends, 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to the ladies at The Carrington and to the hospice at Virginia Baptist Hospital for their loving care towards Mrs. Fogle.
