Marion Smith Evans

Born in Lynchburg, January 21, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Richard H. Smith and Frances Chenault Smith. She was a member of Langhorne Chapel. She retired form Fidelity National Bank.

She is survived by two sons, Marshal Evans (Debbie) and Stacy Evans (Kelly); one daughter, Robin Choo (Charles); one sister, Michaelle Sciberras; one brother, Richard Smith (Debra); eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

One granddaughter preceded her in death.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Virginia Memorial Park with Pastor Dwight Weaver officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking to make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
