Mary Jordan Lamb

Born on November 14, 1939, in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Halsey Thomas Jordan and Eva Brooks Jordan. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, David R. Lamb, and several siblings.

Affectionately known by her family as “Kitty Lamb,” Mary had a lifelong love of animals—especially horses and dogs. She spent many years training and showing horses, and her dedication to them reflected her patience, strength, and gentle spirit. Above all, Mary was devoted to her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who valued time spent with those she loved most.

She is survived by three children, David Kevin Lamb (Yvonne), Brian Thomas Lamb, and Randi Lamb Mays; one brother, Raymond Jordan; three grandchildren, Ashley Keys (Robert), Dakota Brian Keys, and Jessica Lamb Robertson (Mark); and two great-grandchildren, Hazel and Abel Robertson.

In accordance with Mary’s wishes, the family requests that services be private.
