Melinda Lea Lang, 51, of Evington, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021 at her residence.

Born September 28, 1970 in Rocky Mount, VA, she was the daughter of Wanda Maxey Lang and Jimmy Ray Lang, Sr. Melinda was a former employee of the Holiday Inn Express.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Brandon Bivens; four sisters, Millissie White, Teresa Zuniga, Amanda Williams, and Arlene Bortzer; a brother, Jimmy “Bo” Lang, Jr., and her papa, Walter Lang.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Christian Chapel with Pastor Ray Triplett officiating.
