Nancy Virginia Greer Driskill

Born November 27, 1924 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles Vincent and Ella Almond Greer and was also preceded in death by a son, Bradley Steele Driskill, Sr.; a brother, Edward Greer and a sister, Mildred Steuart. She was a retired secretary with the Campbell County School System with thirty years of service and always thought so much of the faculty, staff, and students at Rustburg Middle School. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Driskill is survived by a son, Samuel B. “Sam” Driskill, III of Concord; a daughter, Betty Ann Brooks of Richmond; two grandchildren, Michael Krantz and his wife, Penny and Bradley Steele Driskill, Jr.; a great-grandson, Michael Krantz, Jr.; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Mason Driskill and her fiancé, Larry Grishaw and many wonderful lifetime neighbors and friends.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Concord Cemetery at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 21, 2012 with the Rev. Chad Harris officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, April 20, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church in Concord.
