Patricia Gayle Coles

Patricia Gayle Coles, 58, of Lynchburg passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017, at Virginia Baptist Hospital. Born September 12, 1958, in Lynchburg she was the daughter of Pearl Marie Nuckols Coles and the late Cecil Gray Coles.

Patricia was a member of Heritage Baptist Church. She also attended the Lutheran Family Services Day Program.

In addition to her mother, Patricia is survived by numerous special friends whom she thought of as brothers and sister including: Jonathan Harris, Robert Theisen, Russell Lipscomb and Sandra Hartless; her “guardian angels”, June Marie Loving, Carrie Weeks, Linda Theisen, Carol Wooldridge, Nita Drinkard and Wyzetta Titus; her buddies, Steve Glover, Bobby Perry, Jr. and Timmy Burnette; and numerous cousins whom she loved dearly.

The family would like to express a special thank you to all the doctors, nurses and staff at Lynchburg General Hospital and Virginia Baptist Hospital for their care towards Patricia.

A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 6, 2017, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Zane Abbott officiating. Interment will follow at Virginia Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel and at other times at the residence.
