Born February 12, 1936 in Grayson, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Lewis Bruce and Mintie Jane Anderson Halsey.
Mrs. Cooper was employed with the D.A.V. and was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, George E. Anderson of Manassas, Larry F. Cooper and wife, Beta of Sumerduck; one daughter, Wendy Lightfoot and husband, David of Forest; four grandchildren, Christina Ashley and Elizabeth Marie Cooper, Amanda Louise and Andy David Lightfoot; and great-grandson, Anthony Cooper Rako.
The family will receive friends today Friday, February 17, 2012 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. and a Memorial service will be held after the visitation at Whitten Timberlake Chapel at 7:00 p.m. conducted by Pastor Dan Manley.
The family would like memorial contributions made in honor of Patricia to Centra Hospice House.
