She was born in Virginia on June 9, 1921 and was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Bomar, Jr.; a son, Edward (Micky) Bomar III; a daughter, Connie Fisher; and a grandson, Keith Bomar.
She is survived by her two daughters, Barbara Lanier and Sandra Davis (Walter); and eight grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank Gentle Shepherd Hospice for their care and love for Mom. The family would also like to thank Ricky, Kelley, and Anita Clements for all their care.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Jordan Baptist Church, 3708 Parkwood Ave, Lynchburg VA, 24501.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial contributions be made to the Lynchburg Life Saving Crew, 2007 Memorial Ave, Lynchburg, VA 24501.
