Born August 6, 1942, in Suffolk Co., MA, he was a son of the late Elmer E. Ross and Myrtle Evelyn Folsom Ross. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Billy Ross; and a sister, Dottie Tabeek.
Mr. Ross was a United States Army, veteran, having served in Okinawa. He was a member of Heritage Baptist Church. He loved music, sang in the church choir and played the trumpet. He was a championship table tennis player, having won several trophies and awards.
Survivors include three sisters, Frances Ross, of Lynchburg, Betty Franum, of Whitman, MA, and Millie Ross, of Boston, MA; and a brother, Elmer Ross, of Mashapie, MA; cousins, Richard, Mary Lou, Gary and Stanley Folsom, all of Plymouth, MA, and many other family members, in the Massachusetts area.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Heritage Baptist Church, by Pastor Keith Manuel.
