

Born in Lynchburg, March 24, 1937, he was the son of the late Willie E. Perry and Irene Lineberry Perry. He was the owner and operator of Ron’s Auto Service. He was a state inspector for over 49 years and operated the longest serving state inspection shop in Virginia. He was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Ronald E. “Eddie” Perry, Jr. of Evington; one daughter, Linda Perry Falls and her husband Jay of Lynchburg and one step-son, Al Stephens of Evington; four grandchildren, Sonya Perry Heater and husband Shawn, Jacqueline Page and husband Thomas, Brittany Falls McCune and husband Cody and Chris Falls and wife Aimee and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one great grandson, Tyler Scott Hamilton Perry and his daughter-in-law, Pamela Perry.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Concord Cemetery with Pastor Jonathan Falwell officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
