Born on December 15, 1947 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Mattie Pearl Witt.
Sandra enjoyed going to the beach and going to festivals. Her greatest passions in life were spending time with her grandchildren and helping others in their time of need.
Sandra is survived by her two sons, Mike Wright and his wife Bonnie and Timothy Wright; two grandchildren, Zachary Wright and Tyler Wright and his wife Kaitlin; one great granddaughter, Kayleigh Wright; three brothers, Pete McKinney, Paul McKinney, and Billy Haynes; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Friday, October 21, 2016 at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
