

Born in Seoul Korea, September 19, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Chomtol and Yusuae Choe. She retired from Dunkin Donut.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Unchu M. Smith and her husband Ralph of Concord, and Pam M. Routon and her husband Eric of Rustburg; two sons, William L. Mayo and his wife Nancy of Madison Heights and Roy Mayo of Lynchburg; two grandchildren, Gabrielle Routon and Brandon Wright; three sisters and a number of nieces and nephews in Korea and her very special friends, Betty and Larry Carey and their family and numerous family and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Chaplin Kay Higgins and the Rev. Tammy Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Virginia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
The family would like to thank the staff of Guggenheimer Nursing Home, the staff of Centra PACE and Dr. Verna Sellers for the wonderful care they provided Mrs. Mayo.
