Born on May 31, 1930, in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, Tom was the son of the late George and Anna Sabol. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Anne Taylor, and his brothers, George Sabol Jr. and Joseph Sabol.
A proud Navy veteran, Tom honorably served his country aboard the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt (CV-42). Following his military service, he dedicated many years to his career at B & W NNFD, retiring in 1987.
Tom will be remembered for his kind spirit, his love of the outdoors, and his enjoyment of life’s simple pleasures. He especially loved spending his days golfing, fishing, and working outside.
He is survived by his niece, Mary Ann Hausner; nephews, George Sabol III, Joseph Sabol, Ed Taylor, Mike Huff, and Rick Taylor; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, and friends who will cherish his memory.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Virginia Memorial Park, with Pastor David Turner officiating.
