Born in Lexington, March 20, 1956 he was the son of the late Herman Monroe Gosnell and Vivian Strickland Gosnell. He was employed with Randolph College and served as their Chief Technology Officer.
Survivors include his former wife, Martha Gosnell; six children, Rose Mary Fongeallaz, Victor Monroe Gosnell, II, Timothy Michael Gosnell, JoHannah Grace McKinney, Katherine Summer Hubbard and Autumn Alexandria Miller; two brothers, Thomas Herman Gosnell and Perry Andrew Gosnell and 10 grandchildren.
