Virginia Crews Johnson

Virginia Crews Johnson, 79, of Lynchburg passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Clayton Johnson. Born in Halifax, Virginia on January 31, 1942 she was a daughter of the late William Crews and Virginia Crews. She was a member of Calvary Cross Baptist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Donna Smith and her husband Raymond of Madison Heights, Denise Farmer of Lynchburg and Cheryl Crowell and her husband Martin of Westfield, NY; three siblings, George Crews of Naruna, Louise Walker of Raleigh, NC and Ronnie Mooney of Durham, NC; five grandchildren, Stephen Guthrie, Miranda Dalton, Caitlyn Blakely, Hunter Crowell, and Dillon Crowell; nine great-grandchildren, David, Alexis, Destiny, Lanei, Kinley, Jason, Jonathan, Rhett, and Olivia. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, June 18, 2021 at Calvary Cross Baptist Church with Pastor Wayne Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
