Born July 23, 1932 in Bedford County, Virginia he was a son of the late Hersey Franklin Fitzgerald and Alice Booth Fitzgerald Parker.
Mr. Fitzgerald was a veteran of the U.S.Air Force and retired as a security guard with Frito Lay.
He is survived by three sisters, Joyce A. Wilkerson and husband, Richard of Fredricksburg and Shirley M. Harris of Bowie, MD, Donnie Marshall of Spout Springs; and a number of nieces and nephews who will miss him.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
