Born on October 1, 1956, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was a son of the late Janie Easley Schira Rodgers Vance and the late Eugene Thomas Schira.
He graduated from Mabank High School. Most of his career, he worked in the oil fields in various positions including driller. He was a motorcycle and antique car enthusiast with a gift in mechanics and restoration.
Tony is survived by his brother Gary Gene Schira, Sr., and half-siblings Lesa Kay Allen, Kerry Jean Schira, Karla Jean Schira, James Schira, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
