Mrs. Betty M. Mixon

Betty M. Mixon was born on January 7, 1941 in Dallas, Texas to parents James Elvis and Georgia Myrtle (Pierce) Gordon and entered into eternal rest on September 16, 2019 at the age of 78. Betty worked for Texas Instruments in sales for over 30 years. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and sewing. Betty also liked to read a good book, work a jigsaw puzzle and play Mexican Train dominoes. She enjoyed watching football and was a BIG fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Betty was an amazing sister and aunt. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roger Mixon, infant brother Bobby Mack Gordon, sisters; Patsy Ruth Gordon, Peggy Mixon and her husband Phillip, niece Marilyn Denise Murff and nephew James Elvis Gordon II.

She is survived by her brother James Franklin Gordon and wife Nancy of Ben Wheeler, sister Cathy Gordon Ray and husband Michael of Sulphur Bluff, nieces and nephews; Patsy, Monda, Phillis, Phillip Jr., Nancy Gail, Bonnie, Tonia and Brett, numerous great-nieces and nephews, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
