Betty Lois Splawn

Betty L Splawn, age 89, passed away on March 22, 2026. She was born on May 18, 1936, in Crandall, Texas, and was a resident of Eustace, Texas. She was a blessing to all who knew her. She was fully devoted to God, and she sang in the choir at Full Gospel Tabernacle in Eustace. She was always looking to take care of people; she had a long and rewarding career of thirty years as a nursing assistant. In her spare time, she liked to visit with people, take care of people anyway she knew how, put together puzzles,and listen to Christian and country music. She was also a connoisseur of the color purple.

She is preceded in death by her husbands; Arthur Splawn and Tracy Hyre, her parents William Kennedy, and Maybelle Mundie Kennedy, her daughter Pam Peterson, and children; Chelsea Hyre, Joe May, and Dwayne Hyre, Jr.

She is survived by her Children Traci Splawn, and Barbara Meyer, Cindy Cash, Lynda Slay, Dwayne Hyre, and Tina Jackson. grandchildren: James Meyer, Stephanie Petty, Jessica Baldwin, John May, Brittany Walker, Amber Rivera, Brandi Alman, David Slay, and Samantha Slay. Followed by twenty great grandchildren, and sisters Vonnie Potter, and Faye Egert.
