Bobbie Gaylene (Smith) Wesley was born to parents, Oral and Pearl Smith in Levelland, Texas on July 1, 1937. She entered into eternal rest on January 13, 2022. Bobbie married the love of her life, Edward (Eddie) H. Wesley in Clovis, New Mexico on April 9, 1954, when she was just 17 years old. Together they built a beautiful life together, raising their children and making sure they were always loved and cared for. Bobbie was a sweet soul, she was a dedicated wife, loving mother and adoring grandmother. She loved reading and going to church, she was a member of Church of the Nazarene in Gun Barrel City. Bobbie enjoyed the fellowship and worshipping with other believers. Her favorite pastime was getting together with her family and making precious memories that they will carry with them the rest of their lives.
Bobbie is survived by her sons; Randy L. Wesley of Georgetown, Texas, Vernon E. Wesley and wife Carmaleta of Ontario, New York; daughters, L. Kay Brady and husband Jerry of Mabank, Texas, LaDonna G. Jones and husband Danny of Mabank, Texas; nine grandchildren and two granddogs, twenty-two great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald D. Smith of San Angelo, Texas; sister, Linda L. Pudgurney of Grand Prairie, Texas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward H. Wesley; brothers, Bennie G. Smith of West Texas, Philburn K. Smith of San Angelo, Texas, Arlan R. Smith of Menard, Texas; sisters, Veronica Sue Carlisle of Dallas, Texas, Charlene Holley of New Boston, Texas and Jolene Smith of Lubbock, Texas.
