Charles Dennis Powell Sr. was born on November 12, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to parents Charles Henry and Audrie Katherine (Morgan) Powell and entered into eternal rest on March 21, 2017 at the age of 70. Charles loved spending time with his family; especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed being outdoors and fishing. Charles was a true Nascar fan and loved to cook. He was an amazing man who will be missed tremendously by those who knew and loved him.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Dale Powell and George Powell.
He is survived by his son Charles “Chuck” Powell II and wife Kristie of Dallas, granddaughters; Josie Fosse and husband Jared of Gun Barrel City and Michelle Powell and Gary Nelson of Mabank, great-grandchildren; Collin Jace Fosse and Sadie Lou Fosse, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, other loving family members and many more friends.
