Elizabeth Swindle Smith, age 94, of Morrilton, Arkansas entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 24, 2021. Elizabeth was born June 15, 1927 to parents; Ernest Swindle and Birdie Jane Freeman. She joined the United States Army at the age of 16, and was assigned as a personal driver to her Commander, Col. Leslie G. Mulzer. Elizabeth served during World War II from 1943 to 1946, in the 4136th AAFB Unit at the Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Elizabeth loved caring for her plants, expressing her creativity through her paintings, spending time with her family; and above all, serving her country.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Swindle and Birdie Jane Freeman; husband, Jack Smith; brothers, Ernest Swindle; Anthony Swindle and Son-in-Law, Tim Condley.
She is survived by her daughters, April Jones and husband Richard of Liberty Hill, Texas and Jayne Condley of Hector, Arkansas; grandchildren, Chris Jones and wife Windee of Houston, Texas; Dawn Jones Garcia and husband Noel of Austin, Texas; Dustin Goodwyn and wife Amber of Hector, Arkansas; Myles Goodwyn and wife Mikailah of Hector, Arkansas and Jesse Condley of Hot Springs, Arkansas; great grandchildren, Zachary, Elizabeth, Bayleigh, Jack, Sophia, Quynton. Elizabeth Smith will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
