Mr. Foy Lee Byrd was born on January 22, 1937 in Frisco City, Alabama to parents William Aggie and Rubie Stinson Byrd and entered into eternal rest on December 25, 2015 at the age of 78. Foy drove for Tandy Transportation which transported for Radio Shack. He loved children and animals and they loved him. Foy enjoyed being outdoors with the horses and cows, fishing, camping and being able to travel. He was a Christian by faith and was a member of Seven Points Church of Christ. Foy married Cynthia Pullen on February 12, 1990. He was a very loving and caring man who will be missed tremendously by all those who knew and loved him.
Foy was preceded in death by his parents, sister Patricia Ilene Reynolds and brother Lawrence Byrd.
He is survived by his loving wife Cynthia Byrd of Kemp, son Ben Schoeff and wife Keri of Kemp, son Forrest Byrd and wife Julie of Briar, daughter Tonya Ginn and husband Walter of Lufkin, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, brother O’Neil Byrd and wife Kay of Alabama, numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and many more friends.
