

Gloria was born on December 22, 1951 in Tampa, FL to parents Robert Harold Parsons and Norma Lee Wilson and entered into eternal rest on August 23, 2015 at the age of 63. One of Gloria’s fondest memories was of spending the weekends at the lake with her children. She enjoyed crocheting and made beautiful Native American ceramic art. Gloria was a seamstress and created her own patterns. She loved to cook; especially lasagna. Gloria was known for her red, white and blue salad that she made for 4th of July. She went to Barber College in Oklahoma; where she became a licensed Barber in 1972. She was the owner and an operator of Gloria’s Barber Shop for 15 plus years. Gloria was a lover of animals. She was a Christian by faith. Gloria was an artist; whether it was by her art or being a barber. She was a very loving and caring lady who will be tremendously missed by those who knew and loved her.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, son Billy Ray Sherburne, sister Barbara Flannery and brother Larry Parsons.
She is survived by her daughter Christina Roethlisberger and husband Robert of Richardson, grandson Brandon Landrum, Zian Chadwick, Zachery and Stephen Roethlisberger, granddaughter Michal Kammerer, sister Patricia Smith and husband James, her beloved dog Roxy and cat Mystique, her beloved best friend Cookie, who will deeply miss her “Glory”, host of extended family and friends.
