Elbert Joe “Joey” Caldwell was born on June 24, 1954 in Dallas, Texas to parents Obie Joe Caldwell and Clarice Reed and entered into eternal rest on March 13, 2016 at the age of 61. He was known to all his family and friends as “Joey”. Joey loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He enjoyed being outdoors and riding his motorcycle. Joey loved to rock ‘n roll and partying. He graduated from Kaufman ISD and worked as a painter for over 40 years. Joey was a Christian and a very loving dad who will be missed by all who knew him.
Joey was preceded in death by his dad and best friend Angus Baldwin.
He is survived by his wife Connie Caldwell, daughters; Tonya Caldwell and Tiffany Caldwell of Scurry, sons; Brian and Dustin, mother Clarice Caldwell of Arkansas, brothers; Danny Jo Miller of Cedar Creek Lake, Sampson Caldwell of Mississippi, Ricky Caldwell of Arkansas and Dale Caldwell and wife Teresa of Kemp, sister Patricia Caldwell of Kentucky, eight grandchildren, other loving family members and many more friends.
