

Kenneth Wayne Ferguson White, age 72, of Tool, Texas, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016 in his home. Ken was born November 13, 1943 in Birmingham, Alabama to Marvin Bernard Ferguson and Lucille Ferguson.
His beloved daughter, Michelle Denise White Buck, and her husband, Austin Buck of Flower Mound, survive him. Ken is also survived by his son Robert Keith Whitmire of Frisco; his daughter Kimberly Sue Austin and husband Michael Austin of Cedar Hill; his daughter Laura Yvette Ferguson Woods and husband Jason Woods of Allen; Seven grandchildren: Banks and Cooper Buck, Megan Whitmire, Kelsey Fletcher, Aaron, Joshua and Seth Woods; Brother, Mike Marshall; niece and nephew, Elizabeth Thomas and Michael Marshall Jr.; Former wife and beloved friend Donna White; and an insurmountable number of friends that he considered family.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Marvin Ferguson (2003) and Lucille Ferguson (1992).
Ken was proud of his service in the United States Navy, and had a great passion for outdoor adventure. As it was once written, "I was never meant for concrete and buildings... or crowds. The mountains were home to me." Ken admired and appreciated the outdoors, and enjoyed spending his time at Cedar Creek Lake in Texas, and in the mountains of Montana, where he could hunt, fish, and enjoy God's beautiful creation to the fullest. The family is at peace knowing that Ken's next adventure will be with our Lord, Jesus Christ, in His great heavenly landscape.
