Lawrence Anthony Johnson

Lawrence Anthony Johnson was born on December 4, 1965 in Dallas, Texas and entered into eternal rest on March 13, 2020 at the age of 54. Lawrence was a woodsman who really enjoyed nature and loved hunting and fishing. He liked listening to Christian music and he loved children, whether they were his or not. Lawrence was very amusing and did a great impression of Donald Duck. He loved the Lord with all his heart. Lawrence was determined to get all his family to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. He was an amazing husband, daddy, PawPaw, son, brother, uncle and friend. Lawrence was a patient man and never had a cross word to say. If he was your friend, he was the best friend you could ever ask for. He will be missed immensely by all that knew and loved him.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his nieces; Sarah Sistrunk and Chasity Pierson, his grandma Pauline and best friend JC Cloud.

He is survived by loving wife Tracie Johnson of Gun Barrel City, children; Amanda and husband Dustin of Gun Barrel City, Joe and Bree of Gun Barrel City, Amber and husband Fernando of Japan, Nevaeh, Benji and Journey, grandchildren; Michael, Natalie, Levi, Haven, Avery, Sawyer, Aaliyah, Lexi and Saleen, mother Frances Harris and Bill Fleet of Mesquite, brothers; Mark Pierson and Johnny Johnson, sisters; Marilyn Powell and April Harris, numerous nieces and nephews, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
