

Lee was born June 23rd in Hamburg Arkansas to her parents Jesse and Johnnie Lee Sawyer. She, with her family moved to Dallas Texas when she was 12 years old. She was a Graduate of Sunset Highschool. Lee was a member of Bethel Temple Assembly of God Church in Dallas, and also attended Urban Park Assembly of God church in Dallas to hear her family pastor Rev. Wayne Brashear preach. She attended Payne Springs Assembly of God after moving to Cedar Creek Lake. Lee attended several Stamps Mesic Schools, took piano lessons, and played for the Sawyer Brothers Quartet until their service in World War II caused the breakup. She was also a member of the Bethel Temple Trio. Lee married the love of her life, and soul mate, Lloyd Elbert Tucker in 1966. Lee was indeed a true Southern Bell and was the epitome of a lady. Lee retired from Arthur Anderson & Company in 1991 after many years of loyal service. Lee spent her retirement years with her many friends, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren whom she adored. There has never been a better grandmother and all who knew her would agree.
Lee Sawyer Tucker is survived by her children Russell K Koch and Kari Kelly Koch, Lloyd Tucker Jr., Stephen Tucker and Delores Tucker. She will always be Granny Lee to her grandchildren, Stephen Tucker Jr., Khloe Carolee Koch, Kendra Lewis, great grandchildren, Hailey, Makenzie, Stephen and Levi Tucker and her great, great grandchildren Pearson James Bailey and Bennett William Bailey. Sister-in-law, Lou Sawyer and several loving nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Lee was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Elbert Tucker whom she missed terribly, her mother and father, Jesse and Johnnie Lee Sawyer, four brothers, Leonard and wife Dorothy; Ervin and wife Earline, Clinton “Tom” , Alvin Sawyer , sisters Irene and Jerlene Sawyer. Lee said that her greatest desire was that all her loved ones would live Christian lives and meet her in heaven one day.
