Linda Jean Williams

Born on May 6, 1945, in Houston Texas, Linda was a daughter of the late John Hartley Herring and the late Lois Frances Tice Herring.

Linda was a woman of extraordinary warmth, resilience, and grace. She dedicated her life to her family, her community, and the values she held dear. Her presence brought comfort, her laughter brought light, and her wisdom was a guiding star to all who knew her.

Linda is survived by her son Jason Wayne Williams and his wife, Emily, of Van, Texas; granddaughters, Kylie and Kelsie; sisters, Barbara Forman and Kay West.

A gifted, Christian woman full of faith, love, and hope, she found joy in the everyday and beauty in the small things. Whether through a home-cooked meal, a kind word, or a steady hand, she gave generously of herself to everyone around her.

A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, 03 AUG 25 @ 1 PM. The celebration will be held at the Hide-Away Lake Clubhouse in the Hide-Away Lake community. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to your favorite charity in her name.

Though she is no longer with us, Linda lives on in the hearts and lives of those she touched. Her love, strength, and legacy will remain with us always.
