Nadine Kay Shimp was born on March 15, 1954 in Ashland, Ohio to parents Rex Shimp and Ann Smith and entered into eternal rest on April 18, 2017 at the age of 63. Nadine graduated from Waco High School. She worked for Veteran’s Affair for over 30 years. Nadine received numerous acknowledgement awards through the years. She was loved by all the veterans she helped and served. Nadine was a very energetic person, who was quick to help anyone and patient beyond measure. She attended Grace Fellowship in Christ Jesus in Dallas, Texas, where she served on the praise and worship team for seven years and Board of Directors in the 90’s for Central Texas WCC in Waco. Nadine was a loving and caring lady who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, partner Jean Miles and brother Michael Shimp.
She is survived by her brother Rex Shimp of Waco, other loving family members and many more friends.
