Perry was born on June 11, 1926 in Grand Saline, Texas to parents Durian Camper and Nona Bell Quiett and entered into eternal rest on February 20, 2016 at the age of 89. Perry enjoyed outside activities, working cattle and carpentry. He served in the United States Navy. Perry worked as a teacher at Mabank; where he taught Building and Trades and also worked as a tile setter. He was Baptist by faith. Perry will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He left a legacy of strength, courage, honor and love.
Perry was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Avie Freeman and Lena Cummings.
He is survived by his companion of 21 years; Peggy Mooneyham. Daughter Debbie Hyde and husband Jim, daughter Pam Johnson and husband Tim, daughter Lanette Camper and son Perry Camper Jr. and wife Brandie. Ricky Mooneyham and wife Barbara, Becky Breeland and husband Scott, Rodney Mooneyham and wife Karen, Pamala Roberson and husband Bryan, 19 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, other loving family members and many more friends.
