

Ralph J. Weaver was born July 22, 1925 and passed away August 29, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Ada Weaver; sons Ralph Weaver, Jr. (wife Glenda) of Austin and Bobby Weaver of Longview; four grandchildren – Michelle Oliver (husband Dale) of Porter, TX; Tracey Weaver of Austin; Paul Weaver (wife Brandy) of San Antonio, and Greg Weaver of Longview; five great-grandchildren; Jacob Mayfield of Porter, TX; Abigail and Naylie Weaver of Austin; Whitney and William Weaver of San Antonio; two sisters – Nell Elder (husband Warren) of Victoria, TX, and Verble Boren (husband Bob) of Huffman, TX.
Preceded in death by parents: A.C. Weaver and Delia Weaver; one sister Ruth Jenkins.
Ralph served in the U.S. Navy, then worked for Texas Power & Light Company, Continental Trailways Bus Lines and retired from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office after 34 years of service.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Mabank; Dallas County Bill Decker Deputy Association; Roddy Lodge in Mabank, and Garland Masonic Lodge; Scottish Rite; and Hella Shrine in Garland; and a long time member of the Cedar Creek Country Club.
