

Scotty Ray Turner was born on September 1, 1985 in Fort Worth, Texas to parents Rayburn Turner and Tina Marie Adkins and entered into eternal rest on January 22, 2018 at the age of 32. Scotty attended South Grand Prairie High School where he played football. He was a huge KISS fan, on his 11th birthday he got a back stage pass to see them. Scotty also knew Dimebag with Pantera, he was very much into music. He also loved playing video games and was a computer wiz. Scotty was very intelligent and had a good heart. He enjoyed being with his family and friends; especially his fiancé, whom he loved very much. Scotty was just an all around great guy who will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved him.
Scotty was preceded in death by his half brother Jacob Woolsey.
He is survived by his parents Rayburn Turner and Angela Cade of Kemp, Texas, mother Tina Woolsey and husband Jimmy of Venus, Texas, fiancé Taylor Baker of Grand Prairie, Texas, half brother Josh Woolsey, step-sister Crystal, step-sister Melissa, grandparents John and Linda Taylor of Celeste, Texas, aunt Susan Chavez-Taylor of Wylie, Texas cousin Noah Chavez of Wylie, other loving family members and many more friends.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in Scotty’s honor to the Moose Lodge of Arlington #1932, 3210 Pleasant Valley Ln., Arlington, Texas 76015. Any donations made will go to help support the Mooseheart Orphanage and Mission Arlington.
