Tom Ward Carter and his wife of 15 years, Jimmie Carolyn Thompson Carter will be held together at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home, located in Mabank, Texas at 2:00pm, Thursday afternoon. The service will be Officiated by Jim and Beverly Pool Ministries for their Celebration of Life. They both went to meet their Lord and Savior on September 2, 2021, Tom and Carolyn passed away 21 hours apart.
Tom was born on August 16, 1934 in Elm Mott, Texas. He studied Christian Ministry at Baylor University and continued on in life owning several car lots and being an author and publisher. He is survived by two sons, Alan Carter and Paul Carter.
Jimmie Carolyn Thompson was born on July 18, 1947 in Aberdeen, Mississippi and was retired from Bank of America after 45 years. She was preceded in death by her brother, Thurman Thompson.
Carolyn is survived by her brother,Michael Thompson and his wife Lesley, brother, Eddie Thompson and his wife Linda; her sister, Frieda Rowell and her husband Charlie, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
