Vernon Bailey McKinney Jr.

Mac was born on February 8, 1937 in Dallas, Texas to parents Vernon Bailey and Edith Mae (Daniels) McKinney Sr. and entered into eternal rest on August 29, 2017 at the age of 80. Mac was an amazing father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He loved spending time with his family, friends and church family. Mac enjoyed working on things, loved welding and tinkering with things. He referred to himself as a retired gentleman. Mac’s passion was golf; he played all the time. He was a course Marshall every Friday at the Pinnacle Club. Mac was a Christian man and a member of First Baptist Church of Eustace. Mac was a caring man who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mac was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Dana Kay McKinney-Wolfe.

He is survived by his sons; Johnny McKinney and wife Barbara Leigh of Eustace, Wade McKinney and wife Ashley of Eustace and Gabriel Kira and wife Vanessa of Maryland, daughter Julie McKinney-Grieco and husband Gustavo of Houston, son-in-law Brian Wolfe of Dallas, grandchildren; Jordan Busch, Krysta Lowery, Clay McKinney, Brianna Grieco, Keely McKinney, Averie McKinney, Alex Wolfe, Ian Wolfe, Carleigh Morgan, Cristian Grieco and Dominique Kira, great-grandchild Keelan McKinney, sister Judy Reynolds and husband Howard of Eustace, other loving family members and many more friends.
