Al J Paluzzi

Al was a very talented musician, he played the xylophone with many local bands. He received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Rockford Area Music Industry in 2014 and played at President Nixon’s inauguration. Al also loved to golf and was a top notch jokester, making everyone laugh.

Al is survived by his wife; Florence (Delong) Paluzzi; his children Tom Paluzzi, Frank (Dennis) Paluzzi, Jim Paluzzi, Al (Tanya) Paluzzi Jr., Patricia (Mike) Capes, Rosemary (Gary) Layne, Michael Paluzzi, and Angela (Joey) Rother; grandchildren, Jennifer Paluzzi, Todd Paluzzi, Sarah Paluzzi, Luke Paluzzi, Mike Turner, Vince Costa, Maria Brownfield, Santa Arvidson, Michelle Mershon, and Laura Layne; and several great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Rose Paluzzi; his brothers, James Paluzzi, Frank Paluzzi, Chuck Paluzzi, and Johnny Paluzzi; and sister Palma Ancona.
