Alice Louise Stewart

Alice L. Stewart, 69, of Rockford, IL, departed this earthly life, on Saturday, October 16, 2021. She was born September 22, 1952 in Memphis, TN, the daughter of Elmer and Lorene (Burke) Stewart. Alice was a faithful and loving woman. She was employed as a machine operator for 27 years at Warner Lambert. Alice was an avid reader, loved doing word puzzles and spending time with her family and friends.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Yolanda (Anthony) Cavitt; grandchildren, Cornelius Stewart, Monique (Jerell) Brooks and DeMarcus Stewart; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie Stewart and Evelena Douglas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Stewart.
