Betty Jane Weeks, age 70, of Roscoe, Illinois passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025. She was born April 20, 1954 to Donald Catron and Jacqueline (Grotto) Diverdi in DeKalb, Illinois. Betty was employed as a Dentistry Office Manager for many years. She married the love of her life, William Weeks on May 2, 1997. Betty enjoyed quilting, painting, cooking, and baking. She liked to go on vacations with her family. Betty loved nature, especially eagles, which she could always spot miles away. She also liked fishing, landscaping, playing with her dogs, and bird watching.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, William Weeks; children, David (Tracy) Johnson, Greg (Sadonna) Johnson, and Rachel (Mitch) Weeks; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Rose (Dave) Way, Susan (Lonnie) Jennings, Cheryl Yeager, Deb Heim, Donn (Sandra) Catron, and John (Cheri) Catron; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Betty will be held Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 8800 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park, Illinois 61115, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
