Brenda Kay Wyse

Brenda K. Wyse, 63, of Loves Park, IL, passed away peacefully, Wednesday evening, June 19, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 31, 1961 in Effingham, IL, the daughter of William E. and Lois E. (Gloyd) Myers, Sr. Brenda married Kenneth Wyse, the son of Warren and Nellie Wyse, on December 20, 1990 in Effingham, IL. She was employed at Davig's Custom Cleaners, formerly Concord Custom Cleaners for 15 years until retiring in 2020. Brenda was the rock of our family and held everything together. She gave the best advice and was an amazing listener. Brenda loved wholeheartedly, accepted her loved ones completely, and had a way of making everyone feel important.

Brenda is loved and missed by her husband, Ken; children, Jacob E. Myers (and Kelli Meier), Sam Wyse, Simon Wyse, Ari Wyse (and Jennifer Heermance); brothers, Bruce O. Myers (and Patti Myers), Robert J. Myers (and Timothy Myers-Baltes); sister-in-laws, Donna Myers, Sandy Miller (and Stan Miller), Cindy Preston (and JD Preston); brother-in-laws, Jerry Wyse (and Lois Wyse), Ronald Wyse (and Karen Wyse); nieces and nephews, Krista Whetro (and Rick Whetro), Johnny McCoy (and Ysenia McCoy), Connie Nichole Rose, William D. Myers (and Stacey Myers), Ramona Lander, Noah Myers, Ryan Myers, Shawn Myers, Shawna Dagen, Max Myers, and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Beverly Yingst, John Myers, Rebecca McCoy and William E. Myers, Jr, sister-in-law, Rosie Myers, brother-in-laws, Terry Yingst and Stephen Wyse and nephews, Delbert and Delmar Yingst, great-niece and great-nephew, Hope Jenkins and Nicholas Jenkins.

Brenda will be missed by all who knew her as she left a huge impact on many lives.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Bob & Tim Myers-Baltes on Saturday, July 13th beginning at 5 pm. Food and refreshments available.
