Cesar was a “Solid Individual”, “One of a Kind”, who held traits that are rarely seen today. God takes the Best! He was loyal, fun loving, a true realist that enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a true example of what a man should be.
Survivors include his parents, Abel Duarte and Gloria (Hector Ruiz) Duarte; brothers, Jorge (Jeanette), Eric, and Miguel Duarte; grandmother, Esther Ramirez; the love of his life, Angelica Gonzalez; nieces, Elissa, Brianne, and Jasleen; and many other relatives and close friends.
Funeral mass 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 30, at St. Edwards Catholic Church 3004 11th Street, Rockford with Father William Vallejo officiating. Visitation 5 – 9 p.m. Friday, November 29, at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park. Interment in Willwood Burial Park.
