Charles A. Rogers

Chuck worked 34 years for the Sundstrand Corporation and was a member of Local 592, where he proudly served as Chief Union Steward for many years. He was married to Sandy Rogers on 3/16/1962, in Rockford, IL. They had two children, Stacy and Kevin.

Chuck was an avid drum player, performing with his band the Rhythmaires. He enjoyed playing pool and pitching both fast and slow pitch softball. What he loved most was spending his summers at his camper on Lake Koshkonong.

Chuck was always willing to help friends or family members no matter the time of day, nor the task. He was sociable, and loved making people laugh.

Survived by his wife Sandy, two children Stacy (Randy) and Kevin (Maria). Grandchildren Shaun (Toni), Kevin, and Jeremy Rogers. Several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews all of whom he loved very much.

Was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

Celebration of Life to be held at The Eagles Club, 3829 11th Street, Rockford, Il. on 10/4/2025 from 1-5 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at the event.
