Christine M. Bloechl, 59, of Rockford, IL, passed away peacefully, Saturday afternoon, January 14, 2023. She was born May 21, 1963 in Germany, the daughter of Josef and Ilse (Teichelmann) Zeh. She married Charles Bloechl on February 10, 1995. Christine was employed as an executive secretary at Clinton Electronics. Christine enjoyed seeing Broadway Musicals, doing craft projects, gardening, and taking her dog (George) for walks. In her younger years, she was an avid runner. She loved being surrounded by her family and hearing the sound of laughter. Most of all, she adored her children and her granddaughter, Chloe, and was super excited about meeting her grandson, Luca, in March. Christine was the light in our lives that will never dim.
Christine was such a kind and loving person. She fiercely protected those she loved and that love will shine bright through all the hearts that she touched. Her strength, resilience, and unwavering hope were an inspiration to so many that knew her.
She is loved and missed by her husband, Charles Bloechl; children, Karin (Nathan) Lagacy and Thomas (Kelly) Verschelde; granddaughter, Chloe and soon to be grandson, Luca; mother, Ilse Zeh; siblings, Karin (Anton) Pech, Peter (Monika) Zeh, Gunter (Manuela) Zeh; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Her father, Josef, preceded her in death.
