Survivors include, daughters, Freddie (Albert) Porter, Nathell Walston, Demetra Jefferson, and Vanessa Woodard; sons, Robert and Bruce Walston; 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, son, Sedric Gatlin, parents, and 4 brothers.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park. Pastor Decarto Draper officiating. Visitation 9 a.m. till the time of service. Entombment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
