James N Licari

James N “Jim” Licari, 44, of Rockford passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford after an unexpected illness.

He was born October 6, 1967 in Rockford, the beloved son of Frank and Marion Licari. They survive him.

James is also survived by six aunts, Nina Lomas, Jackie (Elliot) Bartlett, Joanne (Anthony) Capriola ,Nicki (Bob) Jones, Mary Nardiello and Vivian (Ken) Pearse, one uncle; Vince (Myrtle) Licari, and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Nick and Josephine Nardiello, his paternal grandparents; Jim and Mary Licari, three uncles; Louis and Frank Nardiello and Phil Lomas.

James attended Guilford High School in Rockford.

A Funeral Mass will take place at St Bridget Catholic Church 600 Clifford Ave in Loves Park on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 10:00am. Father David Beauvais will officiate.

Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens 8800 North Alpine Road in Machesney Park.

A special thanks would like to be given to the EMT’s, St Anthonys ER and ICU staff and his nurses Gina and Tina for all the special care that was given to James.
